About

I work for LifeChurch.tv as the Team Leader for LifeGroups and Missions.  Our team is responsible to help people grow personally and spiritually, as well as mobilizing resources and people to serve and develop communities.

I absolutely love what I do! I work with an incredible team and get to see God working in the lives of people through our 13 campuses and through Church Online.

I’ve been married to Christy since 1991 and we have three kids who are all now teenagers. We live in Edmond, Oklahoma. Before joining the team at LifeChurch.tv I founded and led (until I ran it out of business eight years later) a non-profit organization focused on developing young leaders.  Before that I was a youth pastor at two different churches, one in Colorado and the other in Florida.

Why This Blog?

“If you can’t explain it simply, you don’t understand it well enough.” – Albert Einstein

The reason I’m writing on this blog is simple: to clarify my thoughts so I can put them into action. Writing helps me think more clearly, and doing so on a blog also gives me a place to organize and archive those ideas, pass them along as needed, and go back to them at the right time in the future.

Your opinion matters to me, so dive in and let’s converse about anything I’ve written!  But as you do, keep in mind that the views I express here are not necessarily those of LifeChurch.tv.  So if you think something I’ve written is out in left field that’s not the fault of LifeChurch.tv – it’s all me.
